Diseases and traumatic injuries of the central nervous system are debilitating and often life-threatening for patients. Current treatment options are limited and may address some symptoms but a significant percentage of patients face no therapeutic alternatives. Aastrom is developing Neural Repair Cells (NRCs), based on TRC technology, with the goal of repairing and regenerating neural tissue in patients suffering from degenerative diseases or severe injuries.
